Gout ( Hyperuricemia) is a chronic metabolic disorder leading to gouty arthritis, kidney stones. It is a type of arthritis that causes pain and stiffness in your joints. About 4 percent of adults in the United States have gout. Gout or gouty arthritis is caused by the accumulation of urate crystals in the joints due to high levels of uric acid in the body. Gout is a very painful form of inflammatory arthritis caused by abnormally high uric acid in the blood out of which monosodium urate crystals precipitate in the joints and connective tissue. These trigger an inflammatory response that produces the painful symptoms of a gout flare (attack).

Real • Gout Relief Formula aims to improve an alkaline environment in the human body and helps to impede the formation of uric acid crystals. Real House Gout Relief contains higher amounts of alkalizing minerals, such as magnesium and potassium, and boosts blood urine alkalinity through vitamin C, alfalfa extract, and tart cherries which are high in anthocyanins.  By alkalizing your body tissue, blood, and urine, it’s hard for crystals to form and survive in an alkaline environment. This Unique Formula facilitates diuretic functions, basically meaning that they help to increase urine flow. In this way, their job is to get more uric acid out of the body. This Real • Formula has natural anti-inflammatory properties, which help fight swelling and damage caused by gout attacks.

Main Ingredients and Functions

Celery Seed Extract 10:1  – Celery seeds are one of the most effective to switch your body pH from acidic to alkaline. They are diuretic, basically meaning that their aim is to increase urine flow. In this way, they aim to flush more uric acid out of your body and lower the risk of stones forming in your kidneys.

Celery is rich in dietary fiber, folate, molybdenum, manganese, magnesium, potassium, calcium, copper, phosphorus, pantothenic acid, vitamin A, vitamin B2 & B6 & vitamin C & vitamin K; so important, not just for your gout, but for your overall health too. The B vitamins work well to convert uric acid into harmless compounds, whilst vitamin C has been proved to increase uric acid excretion and lower uric acid levels in the blood. Celery seeds contain nearly 20 different types of anti-inflammatory agents, so is beneficial for reducing inflammation during a gout attack.

Turmeric Extract 8:1 (Curcumin)  – Curcumin has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that help with the inflammatory pathways in the body, protect from cartilage damage, and aid cartilage regeneration. Many studies have proved that curcumin can activate the antioxidant defense system within the cell and lead to the release of antioxidants and proteins that protect the cell and help in removal of harmful substances. It also influence the production as well as the action of pro-inflammatory cytokines (proteins), enzymes, and other inflammatory mediators.

Curcumin lowers uric acid levels by working on the enzyme xanthine oxidase which catalyzes the transformation of xanthine into uric acid. In one study with patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disorder, curcumin lower the levels of uric acid as well as the harmful LDL cholesterol. In another study, researchers also looked at the effect of a purified curcumin extract on symptoms of gout and found that 17 out of 19 patients noticed improvement within 48 hours.

The wearing down of the cartilage is central to the progression of osteoarthritis. By protecting from joint cartilage degeneration, curcumin boosts the activity of chondrocytes that are responsible for creating and maintaining the cartilage

Curcumin also blocks the function of free radical-generating enzymes like COX, LOX, xanthine dehydrogenase, and iNOS. Another inflammatory cytokine involved in rheumatoid arthritis is interleukin-12 (IL-12).

Tart Cherry Extract 10:1  – Studies have reported that tart cherries have 27 percent to 200 percent more anthocyanins than sweet cherries. Anthocyanins possess antioxidant power including anti-inflammatory factor which helps them to fight swelling and damage caused by gout attacks. Cherries are also particularly good for neutralizing uric acid and also contain magnesium which is thought to help limit the acid.

Just like any other berries, tart cherries have the capacity to alkalize the body. Hence to lower uric acid levels and lessen the pain and inflammation of gout, which is important for the improvement of gout.

The antioxidant properties of the tart cherries are beneficial in neutralizing the free radicals that may damage the tissues in the body. Antioxidants relieve inflammation, which is important for the improvement of gout.

Organic Dandelion Extract 10:1  – It is a valuable herb full of vitamins A, B, C, and D, as well as minerals that include, iron, potassium, and zinc. As a natural diuretic, dandelion may help to increase urine excretion and so help to flush excess uric acid from your body. Using Dandelion for gout relief and improvement.

The dandelion plant provides a variety of benefits for gout users. The leaves provide diuretic effects and promote kidney function, two variables that are essential for decreasing uric acid levels. Dandelion’s influence on increased urine production allows for more uric acid to be excreted from the body. In addition, the dandelion leaves contain chemicals that help promote proper kidney function, an organ that is largely responsible for the excretion of uric acid in the body. Finally, the active chemicals found in the dandelion root have been found to remove harmful substances from the liver, an organ that complements that kidney’s function.

Most studies conducted on dandelion and its benefits have been conducted on animals which do not provide very conclusive results. For the most part, dandelion’s benefits have been recognized as purely anecdotal and in most cases positive. One observation conducted that analyzed the effects of common herbal medicines that included dandelion as one of the main ingredients found that such combinations gave considerable implications that it can be used as a supplementary measure in avoiding rheumatoid arthritis. The components of the herbal combination were found to possess anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative, and pain-relieving properties.

Alfalfa Extract 5:1  – In fact, Alfalfa is an excellent herb selection for gout and uric acid. Alfalfa can increase pH, and pH is associated with the dissolution of uric acid crystals. It’s a high source of many nutrients and minerals as well as being able to help neutralize raised uric acid levels in the body. It actually avoids uric acid build-up. It is an excellent herb selection for gout and uric acid. It’s a high source of many nutrients and minerals, Alfalfa sprouts are beneficial for the condition of kidneys, prostate, and bladder health.

Quercetin   – It is a common bioflavonoid and is considered to be an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties, and also perform activities that can lower Xanthine oxidase level (the enzyme that stimulates uric acid production). Quercetin’s anti-inflammatory activities allow it to stabilize the cells that release histamine in the body, thus avoiding or inhibiting the inflammatory response. It has been considered good for gout improvement because of its ability to control the rate of uric acid synthesis and inflammation. It has anti-swelling properties that are good for helping gout.

Research Supporting Quercetin for Gout Relief: Quercetin’s popularity among arthritis patients stems from its anti-inflammatory effect, which has been confirmed in a 2012 study published by the Journal of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapeutics. The study was performed on rats who had monosodium urate crystals injected into their joints and were improved with quercetin. The study showed the strong anti-inflammatory activity of quercetin.

A series of experimental findings observed Quercetin’s activity as a natural xanthine oxidase inhibitor and found that the flavonoid would be extremely useful for the improvement of hyperuricemia, gout, and other inflammatory conditions states.

Potassium Citrate  – Potassium is essential for muscular activity, particularly so for that tireless muscle, the heart. Potassium helps in controlling the heart rate and is useful in regulating blood pressure. The potassium helps to develop an alkaline state that can lower the chance of crystal formation in your joints. And studies show that potassium citrate can avoid urine from becoming too acidic.

Things like stress, age, pollution, diet, and many other factors deplete your body of these critical minerals and make your body less efficient at removing waste and acid deposits from your blood, tissues, and organs. And so your body becomes dangerously acidic! Therefore, these minerals are critical in keeping your body, organs, and tissue ph balanced.

What’s more, at a cellular level your cells maintain a balance of potassium inside and sodium outside, but this pumping of potassium and sodium requires magnesium.

Magnesium Citrate  – The body requires magnesium to maintain energy and vitality. Magnesium citrate works by attracting water from tissues via osmosis. When magnesium is deficient in the body, the body forms lactic acid. Magnesium as a supplement may help lower gout attacks because it helps to circulate your blood better. It does this by helping to get your heart beating regularly. Because it lowers blood pressure, as the University of Maryland Medical Center notes, it lowers the strain on your heart. The more blood flows smoothly in your body, the less likely uric acid will crystallize in your joints because the fluid helps keep the acid moving until it can be expelled.

Vitamin C  – Refer to a published journal in 2017 study found that Vitamin C extract, such as lemon juice, helps to lower uric acid levels in the blood. Recent research shows that this citrus extract may also help relieve gout symptoms including lowering the risk of kidney stones. Vitamin C may help protect gout in people with high uric acid levels. It’s possible that even those with normal levels of uric acid may benefit from using lemon juice to balance blood acid.  As it may help balance uric acid levels because it helps make the body more alkaline, urine more alkaline.

According to a study published in the British Medical Journal, Vitamin C sources, such as lemon juice causes your body to release more calcium carbonate. The calcium mineral bonds to uric acid and breaks it down to the water and other compounds. This makes your blood less acidic and lowers uric acid levels in the body. Therefore, Vitamin C intake lowers the chances of contracting Gout.
