Our lungs are inevitably exposed to pathogens and a plethora of harmful chemicals on a daily basis. In addition to allergic respiratory diseases and physical discomfort caused by respiratory infections, the global spread of H5N1 and avian influenza viruses also poses a major risk. The fundamental importance of maintaining lung and respiratory health is widely recognized and requires serious attention.

The Adv. Pure Lung’s Unique Formula® is crafted from highly concentrated medicinal herbs that work to strengthen lung function and boost immunity. It is specifically formulated to enhance blood flow in the lungs, reduce mucus, and support the body in expelling sputum and harmful substances, thereby promoting smooth breathing and attenuating allergic airway inflammation. The unique concentration of Japanese honeysuckle (10:1) and Astragalus aids in cleansing the airways, while the medicinal ingredients of wild Chaga and high antioxidants contribute to the regulation and enhancement of the immune system, making this supplement truly exceptional.

In instances marked by breath tightness, respiratory irritation, flu symptoms, allergies, or compromised immunity, this Adv. Lung cleanse formulas stands ready to fortify and enhance your overall respiratory well-being.

Main Ingredients and Functions

Turmeric  – Turmeric contains the active ingredient Curcumin. This active compound has potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which help reduce inflammation in the airways and make breathing easier. Turmeric also supports the immune system, essential for fighting respiratory infections.

Among publications in vivo and in vitro research exist, respectively; Curcumin can inhibit alveolar epithelial thickness and proliferation, lessen the inflammatory response, remodel the airway, produce ROS, alleviate airway inflammation, hinder emphysema, and prevent ischemic complications.

Effects on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease – Curcumin may indicate advantages in this era by its anti-proliferative and anti‐inflammatory effects.

Curcumin attenuates allergic airway inflammation. In vivo shows Curcumin treatments markedly attenuated the inflammation in the asthma model by regulating Treg/Th17 balance. The findings support the possible use of Curcumin as a therapeutic drug for patients with allergic asthma.

In conclusion, Turmeric is a safe and effective supplement that may benefit those with breathing problems or other pulmonary conditions. Studies suggest it can reduce inflammation, improve coughing and mucus production, boost immunity, and protect against oxidative damage.

Japanese Honeysuckle – Facilitates the lungs to get rid of mucous and pollutants. Helps to clean the lungs and encourages the lung membranes to remain hale and hearty.

Pomegranate – It is demonstrated that certain components of pomegranate such as polyphenols have potential antioxidant. Pomegranate juice tend to slow the growth of cell mutation. Pomegranates contain many antioxidants including ellagic acid, which is gaining strides in scientific research.

Natural Vitamin E  – Ongoing animal studies suggest that vitamin E may limit lung damage caused by air pollution. It appears that vitamin E tend to reduce the activity of common air pollutants such as ozone and nitrogen dioxide.

Wild Chaga  – Ethanol extracts of Chaga has been shown to play a role in the production of chemical mediators of inflammation. It has been famed for its effect on inflammation by preventing dysfunction and cell mutation. This leadsto a reduction in the inflammatory response to the body including the  respiratory system. In addition, Chaga also plays a significant role as a free radical scavenger. It acts as a “bodyguard” that essentially protects against DNA damage.

Astragalus root  – Promotes metabolism, allay fatigue, balances serum, balances the liver protein level, and has a diuretic effect. Experiments have shown that astragalus tend to lower nephritis urinary protein, balance the body’s blood sugar levels, enhance and regulate the body’s immune function.  It has been shown to increase nutrient absorption.  Astragalus is one of the most powerful immune- building plants on the planet. Plus, it’s what’s called an “adaptogen”, meaning it activates when you’re under stress to lower cortisol levels. It has been used as one of the primary immune boosters since it improves circulation. Astragalus promotes lung function and improves chronic lung weakness.

Quercetin  – In the multiple preclinical studies, partially supported by clinical evidence showing the Quercetin’s possible therapeutic/prophylaxis efficacy against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS‐CoV) as well as comorbidities like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes mellitus, obesity, coagulopathy, and hypertension. In vivo Quercetin demonstrated promising therapeutic potential. Quercetin inhibited the progression of lung fibrosis, reduced the expression of senescent cell markers and SASP, and promoted overall health benefit in an experimental fibrosis model in aged mice.

Quercetin is a naturally occurring polyphenol flavonoid which is rich in antioxidants. It has anti- allergic functions that are known for inhibiting histamine production and pro-inflammatory mediators. It has the potential to reduce the most significant pathologies of asthma such as eosinophil and
neutrophil recruitment, the activation of bronchial epithelial cells, collagen and mucus production and airway hyperactivity. It also can suppress the production of both periostin and periostin-induced eosinophil chemoattractants and resulting in the improvement of the clinical condition of AR.

Quercetin is a strong antioxidant flavonoid. In addition to lowering blood pressure, it increases capillary resistance, remove excess lipids, expands the coronary artery, and improves blood flow.

Rosemary root  – Contains antioxidants that tend to stimulate the flow of blood in the tiny blood vessels called capillaries. This tend to help lungs reduce stagnant pollutants from lungs into general blood circulation where they can be filtered and eliminated.

Pantothenic acid  – Pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5) is a common precursor for CoA coenzyme A biosynthesis in all organisms. Pantothenic acid is vital for the release of energy from food, for healthy growth and for the production of antibodies. Vitamin B5 supplementation of mice can afford protection against Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the infectious agent causing tuberculosis, through
improved T cell-mediated immunity. These finding suggest that vitamin B5 is yet another B vitamin that stimulates anti-cancer immunosurveillance.

Peppermint (Mentha x piperita) – In the network analysis, the effects of Mentha piperita were closely related to tight junctions and inflammation in allergic rhinitis. Consistent with the results from the network analysis, EOM significantly decreased epithelial thickness, mast cell degranulation, goblet cell secretion, and the infiltration of inflammatory cells in nasal tissue.

Mentha piperita (EOM) also recovered the symptoms of allergic rhinitis, especially the reduction of rubbing and sneezing. In addition, EOM effects the tight junctions and the epithelial barrier function. It is suggested that EOM has advantages for regulating tight junction disruption of the nasal epithelial barrier and upper airway inflammation and in allergic rhinitis.
